Top 10 Bad Bunny Songs

The Top 45 songs by Bad Bunny are an interesting mix, to say the least. And they are very catchy and get you in the mood for fun. He’s collaborated with the likes of Cardi B, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Becky G, Marc Anthony, and more.

Over a career that started in 2016, he has released almost 100 singles and is still going strong. Therefore, it was difficult to pinpoint only 10 tracks out of so many hits, but here goes.

Top 10 Bad Bunny Songs

Top 45 Bad Bunny Songs

1
La Dificil

“La Dificil” was released from his 2020 YHLQMDLG album and was an easy pick on this Top 10 Bad Bunny songs list. That’s because it’s so infectious and feels so good.

In English, “La Dificil” means “hard to get” and is about a girl he is trying to get but is finding the task quite difficult. She’s not just playing hard to get either. She recently went through a breakup and doesn’t want to get romantically involved because of that.

The Reggaeton vibes of this track hit you in the pit of your stomach. It charted at #33 on the Hot 100 Billboard Charts and hit the top spot in the US Latin Airplay and the US Latin Rhythm Airplay Billboard charts. His singing and rapping on this track, all in Spanish, prove his abilities as a vocalist and emcee.

2
  Ignorantes (feat. Sech)

If you have even a basic understanding of Spanish, you will already know that “ignorantes” means “ignorant” in English. Plenty of people are ignorant about love, no matter what language you speak. “Ignorantes” features Sech and is also from his 2020 YHLQMDLG album. It might not have charted as high as some of his other singles from this album. But, in terms of artistic creativity, it’s one of my personal favorites.

The lyrics are about being ignorant about how much you loved a certain partner in your life. And only realizing that after the relationship ended. It’s only when you lose the love of someone that you realize how much they meant to you. That’s what being ignorant in love is all about, and that’s what this track touches on the most.

3
Mia (feat. Drake)

“Mia” is one of the most successful Bad Bunny songs. It’s a collaboration with the super-star Canadian rapper Drake. The up-tempo Reggaeton vibes bounce and bump, making this a great tune to dance to.

In English, “Mia” means “mine” and is essentially a very romantic song about how a certain woman is his in the best possible way. This was a real breakout track for Bad Bunny when it was released in 2018 from his X 100pre album.

The coolest thing is that Drake performs his part on the track completely in Spanish. He is so natural when singing in Spanish that when I first heard the tune, I was waiting to hear Drake’s verse and didn’t realize that I was already listening to him. Their mix of styles was surprisingly good. Even today, I think this is one of the best Bad Bunny collaborations.

4
Dakiti (feat. Jhay Cortez)

I like it when Bad Bunny makes fun tracks. “Dakiti” features Jhay Cortez and is a seductive and fun track that his fans adore. It came out in 2020 from his El Ultimo Mundo album. The vibes are a mesh of musical styles from House Music and Reggaeton to Synth-Pop. It’s a flexing type track that talks about using luxurious life to attract women.

This braggadocios song is more cheeky and cocky than arrogant. That’s why it’s such a fun vibe. Sure, the vocals rely heavily on auto-tune, but most tracks around that time did. The duo sounds great together, and their flows and styles really complement each other.

5
  Mayores (feat. Becky G)

“Mayores” features Latin vocalist Becky G and is quite a reflective track that talks about relationships. Let’s be clear here, it’s a Becky G track that features Bad Bunny. The Spanish word “Mayores” means “older” in English, and the lyrics talk about a younger woman (Becky G) being attracted to an older man.

At the time of release, Becky was rumored to be dating a professional footballer named Sebastian Lietget. Incidentally, he was four years older than her, and this song kind of confirmed that to fans.

The track was released from Becky’s 2017 album Mala Santa. At the time, the cameo made this track one of Bad Bunny’s biggest songs and helped to give him some exposure. Aside from that, this is a great song that showcases the duo in their best possible light.

6
  Te Guste (feat. Jennifer Lopez)

This is an interesting track because it was released as a single but wasn’t featured on any album. “Te Guste” is so cool because it features the Pop mega-star Jennifer Lopez.

In English, “Te Guste” means “you liked me,” and it’s about a couple that falls in love at first sight. The instrumental is very well produced and comes equipped with a Latin Trap music vibe that you don’t often hear in the US mainstream charts.

This pair is sizzling hot. And their chemistry on the track reflects that perfectly. When it was released in November 2018, it was a decent commercial success, but not massive. At the time, Bad Bunny was only just getting known in US markets. And, no doubt, this collaboration with Lopez helped to gain more exposure.

7
  Estamos Bien

“Estamos Bien” is one of my favorite Bad Bunny songs. It was one of my first picks for this top 10 Bad Bunny songs list for several reasons.

It was released in 2018 from his X 100pre album and is a very insightful song about Hurricane Maria and its victims. The lyrics talked about how many people caught up in the hurricane managed to get through it all. It offers an insight into the lives of those suffering the most.

It was like an anthem for hurricane victims and survivors to give them a voice when they needed it the most. The track has so much heart and is extremely uplifting. It’s also a great song for anyone going through problems in their lives that need some support.

8
Vuelve (feat. Daddy Yankee & Bad Bunny)

Reggaeton superstar, Daddy Yankee, is serious business on the mic. “Vuelve” by Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny is a collaboration track from the Puerto Rican duo. It featured on Daddy Yankee’s El Disco Duro album and was released in September 2017.

At this time, Bad Bunny was still generally an unknown quantity. So, pairing up with the already world-famous Daddy Yankee really helped his career take off.

The track is a very emotional song with a Latin Trap vibe that talks about getting through heartbreak. Everyone can relate to this subject because we have all been there at some point in time. Bad Bunny’s vocals are smooth. But, in my opinion, Daddy Yankee’s rapping is the star of the show.

9
Amantes de Una Noche (feat. Natti Natasha and Bad Bunny)

“Amantes de Una Noche” is a Bad Bunny and Natti Natasha collaboration that was essentially a single that wasn’t featured on any album. The name of the track means “one-night lovers” in English, which is self-explanatory. The Reggaeton-inspired instrumental is playful and cool and makes it a perfect complement to one-night stand fun.

The vocals bounce back between the two in a playful manner. They talk about what they are going to do to each other when they finally get between the sheets. It’s a sexy and seductive slow grind track that favors sensual dancing. They both constantly try to outdo each other in terms of vocal delivery. But, in the end, they both sound great.

10
  I Like It (feat. Cardi B & J Balvin)

It wouldn’t seem right if I didn’t put “I Like It,” featuring J Balvin and Cardi B, at the top of my list. It’s easily Bunny’s most successful track that made the mainstream US markets. The song was released in 2018 from Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy album. And it did wonders to propel Bad Bunny’s career as he rapped in both Spanish and English.

In terms of commercial success, it reached #7 on the Hot 100 Billboard Charts while also being a major hit across the entire world. This was the first time that most Europeans had ever heard of Bad Bunny. So, you can never underestimate their importance. And, the truth is that the vibes are fun, and cool and perfectly capture that Latin flavor.

Top 45 Bad Bunny Songs – Final Thoughts

In 2022, Bad Bunny was one of the biggest musical artists in the world, just behind Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. During his brief career, he has already sold around 5.3 million albums worldwide, with nearly five million of those being in the US. But that doesn’t tell the whole story.

When you look at his digital downloads, he has close to 55 million downloads. It’s really difficult to gauge today’s numbers in comparison to when only physical copies were sold. The truth is that Bad Bunny’s Top 10 songs are a cool mix of Reggaeton and Latin Trap styles that sound a bit different from the norm.

So, the way he’s managed to penetrate mainstream US markets where other Puerto Rican artists have failed should tell you something. When you consider that Bunny’s career is only six years old, his success is astounding. He’s already on his sixth studio album, so he is very consistent and productive in the studio.

Until next time, happy listening.
